Aircraft Carbon Brake Disc Market Overview:
Aircraft Carbon Brake Disc is generally used to slow down the aircraft when landing and rolling on the runway. It is a necessary component to ensure the safety and direction control of the aircraft during ground operations such as taxiing, landing and takeoff. Aircraft carbon brakes with discs are common in small and light aircraft. A non-rotating caliper bolted to the undercarriage shaft helps apply the brakes as the sides of the discs rub against each other. However, a single disc proved unsuitable for applying the brakes. Earlier, disc brakes were used in aircraft and consisted of a disc that rotated with the wheel assembly, while a fixed caliper resisted rotation by creating friction against the disc when the brakes were applied. However, due to the introduction of new technologies and innovations, electric braking systems have become more popular. This carbon fiber braking system provides anti-skid protection and fully integrated brake control, including emergency and parking brake functions by combining brake-by-wire control technology with electromechanical brake actuation. Thus, two discs are bolted to the wheels of the aircraft's carbon brakes, with the double disc surrounding the center bracket between the discs. The presence of linings on both sides makes the brake contact with all the discs during use, making the braking safer, making the double disc aircraft carbon brakes very suitable for large and heavy aircraft. Moreover, increasing air passenger demand has led to increased demand for aircraft, thereby driving the growth of the aircraft carbon brake disc market.
